ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) Type F is a premium lubricating fluid meeting the Ford Specification M2C33-F and should not be used in Ford transmissions that require a fluid that meets Ford Specification M2C138-CJ. This product has low temperature properties, resistance to oxidation, corrosion and wear protection that are factors in meeting requirements of this service.
Applications
:Recommended for automatic transmissions in all Ford passenger car automatic transmissions prior to 1977 models as well as many specific 1977 through 1981 transmissions (consult the vehicle owners manual). ATF Type F is also used in transmission systems and hydrostatic fluid applications where special friction characteristics are necessary or required by manufacturers.
