A multi-purpose sulfur/phosphorus type gear lubricant designed for API Service Classifications GL-5 and MT-1. Compounded with highly refined paraffinic base stocks and additives to ensure extreme pressure characteristics, anti-wear performance, anti-corrosion inhibition, rust prevention, anti-foaming tendencies and service fill limited slip capability.

Applications

Recommended for differentials, rear axles, final drives, conventional manual transmissions, manual steering gears, and limited slip top-off suitability, in passenger cars and trucks where GL-5 type lubricant is specified. Recommended for gear applications where sulfur/phosphorus controlled chemically-active additive package is designated. Meets MT-1 capability for non-synchronized manual transmissions in heavy duty systems. Meets the requirements of U.S. Military Specification MIL-L-2105D, MIL-L-2105E, and Mack GO-G, H. SAE Grade 80w-90 is primarily recommended for passenger cars and light trucks; Grade 85w-140 for heavy duty equipment, both on and off-highway fleets, as well as many industrial and commercial mechanical systems applications.
